 ! This is my commissioned piece that got me my one year sub!  My first attempt to draw Hikaru from the manga/anime Hikaru no Go. Fell in love with the art style~ Obata Takeshi, the artist behind that, is one hell of a talented mangaka. **envious** He is also the artist for the uver-awesome Death Note, both former and latter titles serialized by Shounen Jump, the publisher behind great anime hits like Naruto, YGO, Bleach, HUnter x Hunter, among others. XD Done this in colored pencils, a mix of Faber Castell and Coleen. Color levels and output manipulated in Photoshop 7.0 to make it more... appealing XD Special thanks to my buddy and partner-in-crime, ~chicharon for scanning and putting some effects XD Couldn't think of a proper background so I thought of a giant GO board This piece will be featured in  upcoming artbook.
